Ramadhan in Monash(:

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

"Busy woman" is what friends label me as. Haha. Okay, undeniable for this month of Ramadhan as we [Monash Islamic Society] conducted an event a week starting on the 2nd week of Ramadhan.

We had a talk on "Women's Rights" by Sister Tuty Ashikin, ya, eventhough the number of people turned up were not quite satisfying, but insyaAllah, I did it for Allah, and Allah do not count the outcome, but rather the effort put on something.

I still havent got the pictures of the talk event so I just simply put the picture of the adorable speaker here(:

The next week, we had a grand and prestigious event....

A Collaboration Event between Monash Islamic Society and Monash University International Students Services

Two niqabis in Monash(:

Guys.

Few girls came to pray tarawikh with us

Okay, people, it was expected hehe. Well, we are in Monash, and its not easy to get people to join religious activities ;p

Monash Islamic Society Commited Committees:D

Monash Islamic Society [MIS] & Monash University International Student Services [MUISS] committees

Alhamdulillah, it'd be a lie if I don't feel proud of being one of the committees for this event because there were at least 200 people turned up [Muslims and non-Muslims] at that night.
To those who were not able to make it up, insyaAllah MIS would be organising another one next year insyaAllah. But I don't think I'd still be the VP of the club as I have other plans for myself hehe.

And finally we'd be having a Khatam al-Quran and Iftar insyaAllah this Thursday 17th September 2009, organised by MIS as well hehe.

Click on the poster for clearer picture.

All of you are invited. Yes, eventhough you are not a Monash student.
And, if you can't make it, but u feel like donating to us [yes, we're seriously lack of fund!] kindly contact me [ATIE] through my email
ladyship.atie@gmail.com

After Ramadhan I'd not elligible to be labelled as "busy woman" haha.

Alhamdulillah!!
